Rethinking my post the CO was asking me to break the law because I knew that these guys were child molesters, so being I had that knowledge I would be breaking the law. Not the child molester but I would if we called at a home with children or if children were in my car group and the child molester were to be alone with the kids in the car. I was not allowed to tell anyone of what I knew with threat of being DF'ed so the other adult in the car would not know, only myself and if the other adult wanted to leave the child molester with kids alone while her and I were at a door what could I do to stop it with out telling her which I could not do with out being DF'ed?

It puts the one in the know between a rock and a hard place.

I have notified the police, that is how I got some of the public records. The police are well aware that JW's send their pedophiles out. It is not against the law where I live for child molesters to go door to door. I was totally blown away when I heard that. I was sure that when I told them they would as you say "arrest them in the act," but unfortunately that is not the case.

What is against the law is for a person to allow a pedophile to hold and interact with children. Like the elders allowing the pedophiles to take care of kids during the meetings knowing that they are child molesters. It sounds backwards to me but that is how it has been explained to me by the police.

So that being the case if an elder takes a known child molester to someone's home and that child molester goes back to harm the child the person who took the molester they could be held responsible. Note the key would could. It may not happen but the elders and whoever the elders deem spiritually mature are putting themselves in the line to be libel just like what happened in the Candace Canti case. It is like playing Russian roulette.

144001 I did not mean to get so upset with you and I understand that you are trying to warn people to not do something stupid with Anonymous and get themselves in trouble. I totally understand that.

It is just that I was an elder's wife and I had no say in putting pedophiles in my car or for that matter having to work with them door to door. I was told by a CO to just get over myself. That I needed to get my feelings under control toward the pedophiles. The CO told me a child molester was no different than a former drug dealer or prostitute that came into the truth, no one needs to know of their past. The CO told me I was the one with the problem. When I told the CO that 90 to 95 percent of child molesters reoffend he told me that was worldly wisdom. When I asked why these child molesters were so into the kids in the hall again I was told I was the one with the problem and I needed to get a handle on my feelings. When I told the CO to read the Life Stories of Jehovah's Witnesses in the bound volumes he just looked blankly at me. I told him as he clearly knew that many of the life stories talk about JW's being drug dealers, bank robbers, etc but none of the life stories ever say I was a former child molester. Why not? The CO never answered me, I wonder why?

Anonymous has never demanded of me to do anything that I feel is illegal like the CO did. Grated KS it is not against the law but it goes against my conscience. As a side note no child molester did go out in service in my car as I still threw a fit and my husband was deleted as an elder because I was not in submission enough.

But the fact is that a Candace Canti could come up in the hall I went too and who is going to pay for the legal fees of the elders who let the child molesters go door to door and be around then new Candance in the hall?

I understand 144001 where you are coming from but I still feel so frustrated by how I was trying to be forced by the religion to go against my principles and to put myself in line to be sued by a child in 20 years when they get to be the age of Candance.

I will totally own my words. You are trying to scare people, no one that I know of condones Anonymous breaking the law. But no one should condone the religion of Jehovah Witlessness breaking the law either. I know two wrongs to do not equal a right but everyone is so frustrated that in the Religion of Jehovah's Witnesses they are clearly breaking the law by allowing child molesters to interact in secrecy. This is clear by the huge verdict that was given to Candace Canti.

We do not know who you are sitting behind your computer, you could be an elder, a CO, DO or for that matter SST from Bethel.

What everyone does know is that men who have raped kids, who have made kids do disgusting acts on them as one of the men in my hall did to children. These men should not be allowed to interact with kids period. To send these kind of people door to door is insane. To be told by a CO that I had no chose in the matter and that I had to break the law is insane.

I am not just talking about Pennsylvania law I am talking about the laws in most states, most states are a mandatory reporting state. So why do the elders go to a pay phone???

Look at what happened to Monsignor Lynn yesterday in the news, that is not Pennsylvania.

I am not supporting breaking the law with Anonymous and if that is what they are doing then I do not support that but I do support informing and getting the word out the Jehovah's Witnesses are clearing breaking the law.

Yes LV101 they defiantly go door to door. I have begged the elders not to send them door to door, then I have talked to the CO's the DO and begged them not to send them door to door. Then I wrote to Bethel, first the writing department then, I was turned over to the service department. In fact one of the guys I was writing to was the same one who wrote to the elders involved with Candace Conti. They will not give you their names when you write or call Bethel they will only give you letters. The guy I was speaking to was SST the same as Candace Conti.

Mind blown is totally right "if the WT is assisting/encouraging them to go door to door as well as being on the same street as children, they are guilty of breaking the law."

144001 has his own agenda trying to scare everyone by telling us we could all be fined and maybe even thrown in jail if we side with Anonymous.
But like I posted it is also against the law to go door to door with child molesters and I begged a CO not to send me with child molesters and the CO told me to my face I needed to get a handle on my feelings toward child molesters. That the one pedophile I was talking about even though he was on Meghan's list he still had a right to go out in field service and if he showed up to meet for service and being that my husband was an elder he would go out in service in MY CAR. I had no say in the matter.

So as 144001 is saying we could be arrested or fined by supporting Anonymous but we can also be arrested or fined by not doing anything as we can see what happened with Penn State and Joe Paterno.

How can there be a question such as number 9 on their the WT's Child Abuse Telememo that says how many elders felt that the victim was somewhat at fault or a willingly participated in the acts?

How can there ever be a Telemomo in the first place?

I know the hall I was attending and only reason I stopped attending was because of the child molesters. It was what woke me up to this not being the "truth" in any way the way the child molesters were being handled.

OK so Anonymous and their activities are as you say 14401 are criminal. But so is allowing child molesters, pedophiles to be around and hold and take care of kids in front of the hole congregation and not do a dam thing about it. I know in the hall I went two there were three very strong elders, one was the CoBE, his son-in-law and a tax attorney elder. These three elders wanted the pedophiles to be able to hold kids in the hall. Some of the other elders felt it was wrong but did not know how to buck the three strong elders. So they went with the flow.

How is that any different then Joe Paterno? So what you are saying is stay away from Anonymous but what do? Do you do sit by and let kids get raped? It is kind of like you are damned if you do and damned if you don't.

I talked to an attorney and he told me that knowing what I do and that is that the WT does send child molesters men who have raped children door to door and since I know that for a fact that if a child molester was to go back to a door and molest a kid after field service being I was the one to take him to that door I could like Joe Paterno be libel. Look how much Penn Sate lost.

It is truly scary, it reminds me of the Scripture that JW's love to spout off in Rev 18: 4, 5 ("And I heard another voice out of heaven say: "Get out of her, my people, if YOU do not want to share with her in her sins, and if YOU do not want to receive part of her plagues. 5 For her sins have massed together clear up to heaven, and God has called her acts of injustice to mind.")

I am not saying that I support Anonymous to do anything criminal or that I want to or as you said "criminal liability based on a conspiracy allegation."

But I do not want to support pedophiles going door to door also. And being that many of the child molesters are not reported as the Child Abuse Telememo says they may not be reported if it is non reporting state. So you will not know even checking the Meghan's list if the JW you are working with door to door it a child molester. Yet you are libel because you know that the person could be.

I guess everyone just needs to get of of HER the WT if we do not want to share in her sins.

I just do not get how they can get by with this. How can they have a question like number 9 and no one do anything about it. It would be like asking if the children Jerry Sandusky molested were at fault.

This is beyond sick. I just do not get why the news is not going after them, much less the legal world. How anyone can stay in the religion after knowing this is mind boggling.

knowing that the candace conti child abuse case was probably coming down the turnpike as was the 5 out of court child abuse settlements the wt society settled in san diego, california - this past april as most of you know the wt society sent a secret letter instructing all elders to essentially keep their " pie-holes " shut ( mouths for those not hip to modern lingo ) and essentially instructed them to not divulge anything to any authorities investigating crimes or other information concerning wt organization operations.. someone posted a thread on this in april, however - with all the news coming out about wt child abuse coverups, the anonymous organization investigating the wt society , i felt it important to reveal some snippets of what the wt society instructed their elders regarding legal issues.

in one section it states, " when someone seeks confidential information : you should never reveal confidential information to anyone unless theocratic procedure requires it or the branch office has instructed you to do so.

This reminds me of when we were first married and this MS in the hall flipped out threatening to kill people. He threatened to shoot up where he worked and they fired him, this was back in the late 80's, now I am sure he would have been arrested by his employer.

Then this guy decided to kill my husband because he was an elder, in fact my husband was the only elder in the hall at the time. So this guy calls us up one night about 10:00 in the evening and says he has his gun loaded and he was coming over. I was so freaked out but my husband told me Jehovah would protect us. My husband did call an elder from the next congregation over that night who kept the guy on the phone until about one in the morning and the guys wife hid the bullets in the gun. From what his wife said after he got off the phone with the elder he picked up the gun to come over to our home and then he realized that she had the bullets and they got into a fight but it stopped him for the time being.

So the next morning my husband called Bethel to ask what we should do. The first Brother on the phone told us to go right away to the police. We were walking out the door when the phone rang again with another brother from Bethel telling us to STOP!!!!!! Bethel did not want the POLICE INVOLVED in anyway. We were to handle this on our own without any help.

My husband would not go the police after that no matter how much I begged him to. He had to follow Jehovah's command first he said and Jehovah was using Bethel. So my husband wanted me to craw on my hands and knees in our home for months in case the guy was hanging out by our home. We lived out of town about five miles, This guy made my life a living HELL for years, coming into where I worked and pointing his finger at me telling me I was a good as dead, he would follow me in his car when I was driving alone, and when ever my husband had an elders meeting, about ten minutes after my husband would leave the house our phone would ring none stop with the guy calling over and over telling me he had followed my husband and had killed him.

Funny thing is the guy started to threaten the next hall over, threatening to kill the whole hall. This hall got a restraining order on him. I now wonder if the elders in that hall called Bethel first or if they called the police first. I truly think they called the police first, I am sure now, which is just common sense. After the police were involved what was Bethel going to do tell them to take it back?
